About Prince Rupert
Prince Rupert is situated on Kaien Island, just off the North Coast of British Columbia. It is Canada’s most northern port on the West Coast and is the southern terminus for the Alaska Ferry.
Our growing city is located on traditional Tsimshian First Nations territory and has close ties to its cultural background. Enjoy the art and artifacts of our First Nations ancestors in local museums and art galleries. Numerous beautiful and storied totem poles can be found throughout the city.
Things to do
This beautiful city is home to fabulous shopping, museums, and intriguing restaurants that tempt your tastebuds with fresh local seafood.
